Henry R. Adams, age
82, of Hohenwald, TN., formerly of Liberty Indiana, died Friday,
July 22, 2005 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted
Monday, July 25, 2005, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Showalter
Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Liberty Indiana with Junior Evans
officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in the West
Point Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of 59
years, June Smith Adams. One son Timothy Adams, three
grandchildren, Shannette, Kelly and Timothy, Jr. . Also seven
great grandchildren. Mr. Adams is survived by nine brothers and
two sisters. Mr. Adams served his country in the
United States Army during World War II. He is the son of the
late Robert Adams and Minnie Adams. He was a retired Press
operator for Stants Mfg. Co. The family will receive
friends from 12 noon until service time on Monday July 25, 2005
at Showalter Blackwell long Funeral Home in Liberty Indiana.

Charlie David Johnson, age 97, died Monday
July 25, 2005 at Lewis County Manor in Hohenwald. Funeral
services will be conducted Wednesday, July 27, 2005 in the
McDonald Funeral Home chapel with Elder Garland Broadway
officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery.
Survivors include five sons, Elmer Johnson, David Johnson, B. J.
Johnson, Malachi and Billy Johnson. One daughter Madgalene
Stacey. Also three sisters, Alma Ruth Noe, Gustava Ritter and
Geneva Swaner. Fifteen Grandchildren and seventeen
Great-grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his
wife, Cora Mandy Metheney Johnson, his parents Emanuel J. and
Lillian Lee Hall Johnson, a son Elvin Johnson and three
daughters Pauline and Hattie Lee Johnson and Charlene Shroder.
He was a retired farmer. Visitation with the family will begin
